Murcott
The Murcott is a type of tangor, which is a hybrid fruit resulting from the crossbreeding of a mandarin and a sweet orange. This particular hybrid was created by citrus pioneer Walter Tennyson Swingle, who aimed to develop innovative citrus hybrids. The King tangelo has been identified as the seed parent of the Murcott, while the pollen parent has yet to be identified.
